Always Winter, Almost Easter

“Always winter, never Christmas” This phrase, taken from C.S. Lewis’, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe feels apt for this time of Covid. Perhaps for this time of year, in more seasonal terms: ‘Always Good Friday, never Easter’.

Prior to our recent Good Friday, my clergy colleague at Rosedale United Church asked if I could make a short video in response to the following questions:  “How has grief protected you this past year?” and “What have you learned?” “How has your empathy expanded?” “What sustained you when you were at a breaking point? What gave you strength and helped you persevere?”
